ĢTV Announces Summer 2026 New Student Orientation Dates

ĢTV is hosting multiple New Student Orientation sessions throughout Summer 2026 to help incoming students prepare for their first semester. Orientation is free and mandatory for all first-time students and provides important information about campus resources, schedules, student support services, and college life.

ĢTV Announces Memorial Day 2026 Holiday Hours

ĢTV will observe Memorial Day with campus closures across all locations Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25. The closure includes the main campus in Odessa as well as extension centers in Andrews, Monahans, Pecos, and Seminole.

ĢTV Pecos Center to host Annual Champions Luncheon

The ĢTV Pecos Center will host its Annual Champions Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at the Reeves County Civic Center. The event celebrates the achievements of local students while highlighting the impact of scholarships that support their educational journeys.

ĢTV Band to Present Spring Concert Featuring World Premiere Honoring the Permian Basin

The ĢTV Band will present its Spring Concert on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in Wood HSB Community Room 201, with free admission for the public. The performance will feature the world premiere of Sun Up to Sundown, a new composition honoring the spirit and heritage of the Permian Basin.

ĢTV Announces Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremonies and Graduation Week Celebration

ĢTV will honor the Spring 2026 graduating class with a full week of commencement ceremonies from May 4–9, 2026, at the ĢTV Sports Center, celebrating students from dual credit, bachelor’s degree programs, continuing education, GED completers, associate degrees, and certificate programs. Graduates can pick up caps and gowns April 27–30 at designated campus locations, and guests are invited to join in celebrating this milestone achievement.
