The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is computer-based and is offered by reservation only. The exam takes approximately 3-1/2 hours to complete and covers material in the areas of reading, math, science and English. Testing candidates will need to have a current photo ID on the day of the exam.
The testing fee is split into two portions:
- $20.00 proctoring fee payable to OC at the Testing Center on the date you choose to test. You can pre-pay this fee by utilizing our .
- AND a $70.00 testing fee + tax will be payable directly to ATI, the owner of TEAS, on their testing website by credit or debit card ONLY the day of your test.

- Contact the OC Testing Center to make your reservation.
- Visit to create your account if you don't already have one.
- If you have lost or forgot your login information you will need to call ATI at 1-800-667-7531 to retrieve your credentials before you arrive at the Testing Center.
- Printed results will be provided for you after you complete your exam and extra copies can be printed directly from your ATI account.
Testing Center Tips:
- The Testing Center is located in the SPUR Building, Suite 150.
- All test candidates should be prepared to present a current photo ID for verification purposes during the check-in process.
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to your reservation.
- You will be provided a locker to store your personal items when completing your exam.
- We welcome you to park in any WHITE or YELLOW parking space located in the lot to the left of the Administration Building.
- No need to bring your calculator, they are not embedded into the testing platform.
